The university of Michigan is a huge inspiration for him as well as JJ McCarthy. I believe I push him as his father to be the greatest he can be, and I believe that drives him the hardest.
We were in the middle of a perfect season. He hadn’t had too many hits being in his first year. He stepped up with bases, loaded game on the line down by two and drove the ball all the way to the fence. It didn’t clear the park, but I hit the middle of the fence. I’m not sure either of us have ever cried over a sports moment like that.
