What I love most about playing sports is getting to be myself when I compete. I love being competitive, pushing myself to get better, and giving everything I have when I’m on the court or field. I also love being part of a team, working hard with my teammates, and making memories while doing something I love.
My biggest inspirations on and off the court are my mom and dad. They always push me to work hard, believe in myself, and never give up when things get tough. They support me in everything I do and remind me that being a good person and a good teammate is just as important as being a good athlete. I’m thankful for everything they do for me and wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
The moments that make me most proud are when I see Bayleigh compete with confidence, especially when she’s challenged. I’m proud of how she never backs down, works through adversity, and continues to push herself to get better. Watching her grow not only as an athlete, but as a teammate and young person, is what makes me proudest.
