Bear loves the challenge of both wrestling and bronc riding—the feeling of pushing himself beyond what he thought he could do. He loves the competition, the excitement, and the friendships, but most of all, he loves knowing that hard work, determination, and never giving up can take him farther than talent alone.
Bear is inspired by the people who work hard, stay humble, and keep getting back up when things get tough. His dad inspires him to keep chasing his goals, while the wrestlers and cowboys he looks up to remind him that success comes from discipline, courage, and believing in yourself even when the odds are against you.
One of the moments that makes us proudest was watching Bear earn 5th place at the Colorado State Wrestling Tournament. Seeing him step onto that mat after all the practices, setbacks, and hard work—and refuse to quit—was incredible. The placement was exciting, but watching him fight for every second and walk away knowing he gave it everything is what made us most proud.
