What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What my son says he loves most about playing sports is the time he gets to spend with his teammates, especially getting to share the field with his brother right now. Having his dad as his coach makes it even more special, creating memories they’ll all carry with them. He loves learning new things, improving his skills, and being challenged to get better. For him, sports are about teamwork, family, friendships, and having fun along the way.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My son looks up to his cousins both on and off the field. He thinks it’s pretty special that they once played in the same leagues he does now, and that some have gone on to high school and even college baseball. Watching them work hard and grow inspires him to keep working toward his own goals. He is their biggest fan, always cheering them on. His cousins show him that hard work, passion, and family make the game even more special.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments in his athletic journey has been watching the composure on the mound. Pitching is challenging, but he stays focused, works through the difficult times, and trusts himself. What makes me the most proud is not just how he performs, but his desire to keep improving. He listens, learns from every experience, and always wants to get better. Watching his confidence grow while staying humble has been incredibly rewarding.
