Every season has helped him grow as both an athlete and a person, teaching teamwork, discipline, and perseverance while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Benny is inspired by his family and the coaches who have helped shape him. His dad and older brother constantly encourage him to work hard and believe in himself, while his mom is deeply involved in supporting his soccer journey. He also looks up to Coach Jake, whose mentorship has taught him the importance of leadership, perseverance, and always striving to improve both on and off the field.
The proudest moment in Benny's athletic journey was being named team captain of his club soccer team and receiving the Leadership Award, voted on by his teammates, in the same season. As a parent, it was incredibly rewarding to see his coaches and teammates recognize the same leadership, character, and work ethic we've always seen at home.
