What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreShe loves the nerves you get for it. She loves feeling accomplished but also knows what she can do better next time. She loves the friendships you build in sports and always shows great sportsmanship. She always try’s to keep a positive mindset and cheers up her teammates when they are down. She plays like she’s losing and thinks like she’s winning. Shes always one step ahead of the play and is a great role model and leader on and off courts and fields.
Her dad inspires her because he is a great leader and he always puts 110%. Another big inspiration is Mia Scott. She is a phenomenal softball player and she wants to play for Texas just to follow in her footsteps and make her parents proud.
There is so many amazing moments where she uses her softball intelligence to get an out and finish a play or inning but that intelligence carry’s into other sports she plays. I think one very special moment for her that I was very proud of is when she got scouted to play for a select team. It broke me to say she couldn’t because we don’t have the money nor the time to commit to it but she still didn’t let that get to her. She makes me proud when she gets a good play in a sport
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
