Women that play on the college level inspire her, allowing her to see that softball does in fact can continue after high school age. Also knowing that softball is an Olympic sport inspires her to strive for that level.
When she was on the pitching mound and was under a lot of pressure, she has taught herself to breathe under pressure, to take her time and breathe it out. Instead of buckling under the pressure, she locks in, breathes and continues.
