Learn MoreJacob loves the competition, the pressure, and being part of a team. As a catcher, he loves being involved in every pitch and helping lead his teammates on the field. But more than anything, he loves the challenge of baseball—the fact that there is always something to improve. Every practice, every at-bat, and every game is another opportunity to get better.
Jacob is inspired by the people who believe in him and push him to become better, especially his family and coaches. They have taught him that talent can only take you so far—hard work, discipline, humility, and heart are what make the difference. Their sacrifices and support motivate him to work harder and never take an opportunity to play baseball for granted.
Watching Jacob compete at Cooperstown is a moment I will never forget. He hit 8 home runs and broke the Vendetta team record, but what made me proudest wasn’t the record—it was watching years of hard work, late practices, sacrifices, and determination come together. Seeing him believe in himself on one of baseball’s biggest stages reminded me that every sacrifice we made to help him chase this dream was worth it. ❤️⚾️
