What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about basketball is that it takes me places and introduces me to people I may have never met otherwise. I enjoy traveling, experiencing different cities and cultures, and seeing how basketball connects people everywhere. Most of all, I love competing against older and better athletes because they challenge me to grow, improve, and become a better player.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On the court, Anthony Edwards inspires me because of his grit, confidence, and passion. He never backs down from older or tougher competition and blocks out negativity while leading his team. Off the court, my dad inspires me to become a better person every day. He teaches me to never doubt myself, never be a follower, and to stay on my own path while always striving to be the best version of myself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment I’m most proud of was watching him earn MVP of his middle school league All-Star Game. After scoring 35 points but losing the championship to a more dominant team, he didn’t let the loss define him. He went back to the gym every day, determined to improve. In the All-Star Game, he faced those same players again, led his team to victory, scored 35 points, and took home the MVP trophy. That moment showed me what resilience looks like.
