Blake is inspired by his parents and coaches, both on and off the field. His parents encourage him to work hard, stay humble, never give up, and always believe in himself. His coaches inspire him to push beyond his comfort zone, learn from every challenge, and become not only a better baseball player, but a better person.
The moments that make me the proudest of Blake aren’t always the ones where he gets the biggest hit/home runs or makes the best play. It’s watching him work hard, overcome challenges, encourage his teammates, and never give up when things get tough. Seeing how much he has grown not just as a baseball player, but as a young man who works hard, stays humble, and loves the game makes me incredibly proud to be his parents.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
