What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Boden loves sports because he gets to compete, be part of a team, and spend time with his friends. He loves the excitement of competition, but what he enjoys most is working together toward a common goal. He also loves helping others learn and gain confidence. Whether he’s teaching a new friend or encouraging a teammate, Boden finds just as much joy in helping others succeed as he does in winning and leading.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Boden is inspired by his parents, coaches, and teammates, who teach him hard work, kindness, teamwork, and perseverance. He especially looks up to David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins for his dedication on the ice and commitment to giving back, including supporting pediatric cancer fundraising efforts. Boden admires how Pastrnak uses his platform to help others while being a great teammate. He hopes to lead by example, include others, and make his team better.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

It’s hard to pinpoint one proudest moment because Boden is such a well rounded athlete and kid. He is a true team player who works hard and gives his all to every sport. He has HEART for the games and his teammates. He listens to his coaches, welcomes instruction, and works to improve. Watching him encourage others, grow as an athlete, and genuinely care about those around him makes us incredibly proud, win or lose. His attitude says it all, happy to be apart of a team.
