Brandon

What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Brandon loves the excitement of pitching and striking out players, playing wherever he is needed most on the field, and collaborating with his teammates not only to try and win, but to progress as a team. He is a dedicated team player who prides himself on being a good role model to all of the players on his team.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Brandon is only 9 years old, but he is inspired by his teammates. He knows how much they look up to him, and his goal in every game is to do well and to make them proud. He loves nothing more than to see their faces and reactions after he hits a grand slam, has an amazing catch in the field or when he is striking out batters. For Brandon it’s not the attention from his teammates that he likes, it’s seeing the joy in their eyes that gives them the same confidence to go out and try do the same.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes us the proudest is when the coach places Brandon on the field where they know he is needed most. Brandon has such a gift when it comes to baseball because he truly can play any position on the field. Although watching him pitch is pure joy, to see him moved to different positions because he is the one who’s needed at specific times, is truly mesmerizing. We knew since he was small that he was a natural at baseball, but we never knew he would excel in multiple positions.
