What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about soccer is being part of something bigger than myself. As a goalkeeper, I love making a difference for my teammates through big saves, communication, and staying confident when the game gets tough. I love the challenge of constantly improving and pushing myself to be better. Soccer has taught me that hard work, resilience, and teamwork can turn challenges into opportunities.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My biggest inspiration is my mom because she has taught me what hard work, sacrifice, and never giving up look like. She supports me in everything I do and always pushes me to believe in myself, even when things get difficult. On the field, my coaches and teammates inspire me to keep improving and be someone others can count on. They remind me that success isn’t just about talent; it’s about character, commitment, and how you treat others.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment I’m proudest of is earning the opportunity to play at the highest level I’ve worked toward as a goalkeeper. Being selected for the FC Dallas MLS NEXT Academy and competing against some of the best players in the country showed me that the long hours, hard practices, and sacrifices were worth it. More than the recognition, I’m proud that I never stopped believing in myself and kept working to become better every day.
