Learn MoreShe loves the challenge of being a goalie and playing with heart. She loves making a big save, battling for every puck, and knowing she can help her team. Most of all, she loves the friendships, being part of something bigger than herself, and never giving up when things get tough.
Her teammates inspire her most. She sees how hard they work, how they encourage each other, and how they keep going when things get tough. Their determination reminds her to work harder, stay positive, and always give her best.
One of the moments that makes me proudest is watching her earn a shutout. It’s not just about stopping every shot—it’s seeing all the hard work, practice, and determination come together. Seeing her stay focused, battle for every puck, and then celebrate with her teammates afterward reminds me how much she has grown, both as a goalie and as a teammate.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
