What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat he loves most about basketball is getting to encourage others and share the game with people he cherishes and loves spending time with.
He’s inspired by people who remind him to always give his best, never quit, stick with his goals, and believe in himself. His coaches, people he’s met along the way, and Kobe Bryant have all left an impact on him. They motivate him by telling their personal stories and encouraging him that with dedication, persistence toward his goals, and confidence in himself, he can achieve the same.
What makes me the most proud is watching the kind of person he is while he plays. He’s the loudest one cheering for his teammates and the first one there to help another player up, even when they’re on the opposing team. I love that he’s determined to train hard, work hard, and keep becoming a better player, but even more than that, I love that he’s growing into such a kind human. ❤️🏀
