Meeting Pete Crow-Armstrong has had a lasting impact on my son. He had the opportunity to meet PCA when he was still at the Cubs convention. At that time, Pete was already a talented and highly regarded player, but he was still working toward the dream of playing in the MLB. For my son, that experience made professional baseball feel real and attainable. He wasn’t meeting someone who had always been a famous Major League Baseball player
I don’t know that I am able to pick a specific moment, I am most proud of my son’s character both on and off the field. He is always encouraging other players even from the opposing team. If someone made an amazing play and got him out; he’ll head nod them. Made a great tackle to stop him; you’ll see a helmet pat. It makes my momma heart proud!!
