He loves both Hockey & Lacrosse equally. He excels in both. He enjoys the friendships he makes. Creating meaningful memories every step of the way. By overcoming adversity, encouraging each other as well as helping each other out, he loves the atmosphere he assists his teammates in creating. He loves the physicality of each sport and how it pushes him to be his best in every way possible. So much so, that he is constantly putting in more time behind the scenes honing his skills.
Nolan MacPherson, last year’s captain of the Kamloops Storm definitely inspires him. As well as Johny Ludvig. Nolan is a natural leader. Constantly leading community charities, leads his team through tough match ups and constantly sets the example.Nolan is the type of lad a mother can only hope their child looks up to. Brody has gotten involved in many community causes because of him. Brody also works hard behind the scenes because of him and Johnny.
The proudest moment for me, yes successes makes a parent proud, but seeing my son stay behind and help the coaches pick up, and acknowledging them before practice and thanking them after. How he has great sportsmanship while playing, by either fist pumping the other player before a face-off or making sure anyone is ok after they’re down from being checked. These actions make me most proud.
