Learn MoreWhat I love most is competing and getting better. In football, I love being in the trenches, going against somebody across from me and doing my job for my team. Track pushes me in a different way because I’m always trying to beat my last throw. I like seeing the work I put in turn into results, but I also know there’s always another level for me to reach.
My family inspires me the most. Seeing how excited and proud they are when I accomplish something is one of the best feelings. Knowing the sacrifices they make and the opportunities they give me makes me want to work even harder and give them more to be proud of. My coaches push me to stay disciplined and keep improving, and my teammates make me compete harder. I also look up to athletes who stay humble, put in work when nobody is watching, and handle business on and off the field.
One of my proudest moments was watching Brody earn Youth MVP at the Hawgz & Dawgz Lineman Camp. Not just because he won an award, but because I knew how much work he had put in before that day. Seeing his effort, confidence, and determination come together and get recognized showed him that the work he puts in when nobody is watching really does matter.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
