What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love the competition, speed, teamwork, and excitement of hockey. Most of all, he loves being part of a team, building friendships, and pushing himself to become a better player and person.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

I am inspired by his dad. Although his dad is no longer here, I carry his memory with him every time he steps on the ice. He inspires him to work hard, stay strong, and never give up.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I started hockey at an older age and continuing to push through challenges has shown me that perseverance and dedication can take me further than I ever imagined.
