Learn MoreB$ loves being part of something bigger than himself. He thrives on competition, loves the grind, and lives for the moment when hard work helps his team succeed. He loves the relationships built in the locker room, learning from coaches and teammates, and constantly finding ways to get better. For B$, sports aren't just about the scoreboard—they're about the people beside him, the lessons along the way, and becoming the best teammate and athlete he can be.
B$ is inspired by Coach Doug DeLett, who pushes him to the next level, believes in him, & holds him accountable when he knows there’s more gas in the tank. B$’s mother inspires him as a previous collegiate figure skater w/her emphasis on character, leadership & resilience. His great-grandfather, drafted by the St. Louis Browns, passed his love of baseball through generations. During dementia, he taught B$ his notorious knuckleball, believing they were in the browns bullpen in the 60s.
B$ is constantly acknowledged after games by opposing coaches for his sportsmanship and his respect for the game. Our proudest moment of b$ is while playing 1st his teammate in the outfield, on the spectrum; w/o 0 prompting b$ turned around after each play to prep his teammate for the next next play & advised of possible scenarios & solutions
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
