What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What they love most about playing hockey is being part of a team and competing alongside their teammates. They enjoy the challenge of improving their skills every time they step on the ice and take pride in working hard to become a better player. The fast pace of the game, the excitement of competition, and the friendships they've built through hockey are what keep them motivated. Most of all, they love supporting their teammates, celebrating each other's successes, and giving their best effort.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Their biggest inspiration is their family, especially their parents, who have always encouraged them to work hard, stay humble, and never give up. Watching the sacrifices their family makes so they can pursue the sport has taught them the importance of gratitude, perseverance, and commitment. They are also inspired by their coaches and older players who lead by example, showing that success comes from dedication, teamwork, and respect for others both on and off the ice.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes us proudest isn't a goal, a championship, or an individual award—it's seeing her give back to the game she loves. She regularly volunteers with the younger players in the Tri-City Jr. Americans hockey program, helping teach basic skills, encouraging new players, and making them feel welcome on the ice. She is patient, kind, and always willing to lend a hand or offer words of encouragement. Watching the younger players look up to her and seeing the confidence they gain.
