What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Flag football has become so much more than a sport, it has become a passion. I love the challenge of learning new skills, pushing myself to improve, and competing alongside my teammates. Every practice and game is an opportunity to grow, not only as an athlete but as a leader and teammate. What I love the most is the sense of teamwork and family that comes with the game. Celebrating my teammates’ successes just as much as my own and always willing to encourage others.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My teammates inspire me both on and off the field. They push me to work harder, encourage me when things don’t go as planned, and celebrate every success with me. Seeing their dedication, positive attitudes, and willingness to support one another motivates me to be the best athlete and teammate I can be. They remind me that success isn’t just about individual achievements—it’s about trusting each other, working together, and always giving your best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was leading my middle school team to compete in the high school division at the FBU tournament in Florida. Even though we didn’t win, I was proud that we never gave up. We played with heart, supported each other, and kept fighting until the very end. That experience taught me that success isn’t always measured by wins and losses. It’s about having the courage to challenge yourself, compete against tough opponents, and give your best effort no matter the outcome.
