The feeling of absolute peace and when his unmatched form clicks in the water, combined with the thrill of the 100m race. For a humble athlete of faith, he loves using his God-given talent to push his limits and honor his new path in Christ. He loves that the pool is a sanctuary where the noise of the world fades, allowing him to focus entirely on precision, rhythm, and his connection to God.
Professionally, Bryce is inspired by Michael Phelps’ elite drive in the pool. But his truest inspiration is his mother, who had him at 17. Watching her resilience taught him the real meaning of grit, making his senior year a beautiful, full-circle triumph for their family. Her love shaped him into a funny, deeply caring young man who lifts up his teammates and honors his coach with every single dive.
Brycen loved the water as a kid, but joined his first swim team as a Martin HS freshman. He shocked everyone by making varsity, racing district seniors, and earning his Letterman jacket alongside numerous accolades. That’s when we knew he was special. Now, his passion is unstoppable. He trains daily at the natatorium and in our backyard. His unmatched form and speed are so elite that his coach pushes him toward the Olympics, knowing he has what it takes to get signed and scouted.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
