What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Bryson loves being part of a team and competing with his friends. He especially enjoys playing catcher because he’s involved in every play and gets to encourage his teammates. He loves learning new skills, celebrating everyone’s successes, and challenging himself to improve every game. Whether his team wins or loses, he’s already excited for the next opportunity to play baseball.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jackie Robinson is Bryson’s greatest inspiration, and he proudly wears #42 to honor his legacy of courage, perseverance, and breaking barriers. Bryson also enjoys watching Ronald Acuña Jr. and Elly De La Cruz because they play with passion and excitement. He hopes to inspire others the way his heroes inspire him by playing hard, respecting the game, and lifting up his teammates.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was watching Bryson continue to compete after facing challenges. At his Perfect Game tryout, he was nervous because it unexpectedly became kid-pitch, but he never gave up. He stayed focused, made two great defensive outs, and kept encouraging his teammates. Even after a tough loss that brought tears, he was already talking about how he wanted to work harder and come back stronger. That’s the kind of athlete and person he is.
