Learn MoreMy son has loved football and basketball since he was a very young boy. He loves the challenge, being part of a team, and pushing himself to be better every day. Watching him grow into a dedicated, hardworking, and humble athlete has made me incredibly proud. No matter the outcome, he always gives his best effort and plays with heart, which is why I believe he is deserving of Athlete of the Year.
During COVID, my son learned to motivate himself. Even when sports were limited, he stayed focused, worked hard, and remained determined to improve. His biggest inspiration comes from within. He pushes himself to be better every day, both on and off the field, and takes pride in giving his best effort no matter the situation.
My proudest moment was watching my son advocate for himself and prove what he was capable of. Even when he felt he had to earn his opportunity, he stayed focused, worked hard, and let his performance speak for itself. Through it all, he showed great sportsmanship, remained a supportive teammate, and demonstrated the true value of teamwork.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
