Quinn Hughes and Cale Makar are two of the most inspirational players to Caiden. As a Defenceman that likes to play a 200ft game, he tries to play his game with their style of play in mind. They are also both great leaders and Caiden would love to follow in their footsteps.
The most exciting moment that makes me super proud was in the provincial championship game last season. We were down 2-0, their goalie was amazing. With around 5 minutes left in the third period, Caiden was battling with a guy in the slot, broke away and found some open ice around the face off circle, called for the pass and nailed the shot far side top corner to bring us within a goal. It was a packed rink and the place went wild!!
