What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreCamden loves the competition, but even more, he loves the challenge of becoming better than he was the day before. He thrives on being part of a team, encouraging his teammates, and working toward something bigger than himself. Sports have become a place where he can push his limits, learn from failure, celebrate growth, and discover just how much he is capable of when he refuses to give up.
Camden is inspired by the coaches, teammates, family members, and athletes who have shown him that success is earned through hard work, discipline, and character. He admires people who stay humble when they win and keep fighting when they lose. More than anything, he wants to become the kind of athlete younger kids can look up to—not just because of how he performs, but because of how he treats others and carries himself.
My proudest moments with Camden haven’t come from a trophy, a great play, or a personal record. They’ve come when I’ve watched him struggle, become exhausted or disappointed, and still refuse to quit. Seeing him continue to show up, work hard, and believe in himself when things aren’t easy tells me more about the young man he is becoming than any scoreboard ever could. His resilience, determination, and heart make me incredibly proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
