What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves the competition, the teamwork, and the opportunity to lead by example. As a leadoff hitter on a competitive travel baseball team, he enjoys setting the tone with his energy, hustle, and positive attitude. He also is one of the voices of the team, encouraging his teammates, keeping them motivated, and helping them stay focused. Being active, competing, and growing alongside his team is what he loves most about the game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He is self motivated and driven to succeed, consistently pushing himself to improve in baseball, school, and life. At the same time, he values the guidance, structure, and encouragement I provide as his dad. I challenge him to stay disciplined, work hard, and remain focused on his goals, both on and off the field. He responds with determination, resilience, and a strong desire to make the most of every opportunity, always striving to grow, learn, and become the best version of himself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes us proudest isn’t a single hit or win it’s watching him grow into a leader. Seeing him encourage his teammates, stay positive through adversity, and never quit, no matter the score, has been incredible. His work ethic, resilience, and commitment to becoming a better player and person make us proud every time he steps onto the field.
