What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Carlos thrives in any sport he takes on. What motivates him most is learning new moves and pushing himself to reach the next goal, all while having fun. He also truly values the connections and friendships he builds with his teammates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On the field, I'm inspired by Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, not just for their talent, but for their discipline, work ethic, and how they never stop pushing to be better. Off the field, my family inspires me the most. They support me, challenge me, and believe in me even when it's hard. I want to make them proud and show them that all their sacrifices and support are worth it. That's what motivates me to work harder every day, in sports and in school.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Carlos makes me so proud because he gives 100% to everything, in sports, in school as a straight-A student, and in band. What makes me proudest is watching him gain self-confidence. He is becoming more sure of himself, believing in his talent and his hard work. He is disciplined, respectful, and humble, and he doesn't just dream about becoming a pro soccer player,he works for it every day, challenging himself and never making excuses. He's a great teammate, a hard worker, and a kind kid.
