Learn MoreHe loves everything about football—the competition, being part of a team, learning new things, and getting better every time he steps on the field. He loves making plays and celebrating with his teammates, but most of all, he just genuinely loves the game. Football gives him a place to be confident, have fun, work hard, and show just how determined he can be.
He is inspired by his family. His uncle played football and now coaches, and his two older cousins are always teaching him ways to improve his game. His older sisters inspire him in a different way. He has watched them dance since before he could walk and has grown up seeing their hard work, discipline, and dedication. They’ve all taught him that being talented is only part of it—you have to work hard, stay committed, and keep pushing to get better.
One of my proudest moments was watching him score his very first touchdown. 45 YARDS!!! What made it even more special was that it was his first time ever running the ball in a game. Watching him take that opportunity and turn it into a touchdown was amazing, but seeing how excited and proud he was afterward meant even more to me. It was one of those moments where you could see his confidence grow right in front of you.
