What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves learning new soccer moves! Once she sees a new move she will practice it until she nails it and then try it in a game. Afterwards she will come and tell us how excited she is that it worked and improved her game. She’s very hard working. You don’t have to tell her to practice on her free time because she’s already doing it. She stays fit in the summer on her swim team.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

She is inspired by her Dad because he’s been so dedicated to her soccer career. He takes her to her practices and travel games. He teachs her new soccer moves and gives her a lot of encouragement. She’s also inspired by Alex Morgan! She loves to watch her play!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I was so proud of her when I saw her helping her little sister learn the game. It made me proud to see how much she cared about her. Because of her inspiration and training her sister is also excelling in soccer now!
