What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreCarson loves dirt biking because of the thrill of hitting big jumps and pushing himself to improve. He also loves the adventure of traveling to different states and competing in national races, making memories and meeting new riders along the way.
Carson is inspired by his uncle, who also rides motocross. They often ride tracks together, which makes his uncle someone he looks up to both on and off the track. His uncle is determined to maintain a good fitness regime, which is important in this sport when off the bike and inspires Carson to maintain healthy habits. He is also inspired by pro rider Hayden Deegan, who works hard, stays determined, and puts in the effort to earn his spot on the podium.
Every time Carson gets on his bike is a proud moment. His determination, willingness to try new things, hard work when others are sleeping, and focus on his goals inspire me every day. Competing at Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National against the top 42 riders in the nation was an incredible recent accomplishment. Watching him push through challenges, grow as a rider, and earn his place among the best makes me incredibly proud.
