What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreMy son loves the competition aspect of the sport. As well, as the fact that he gets to fight against others with close to the same passion as him. This helps him get better and advance as a player and as a person which one the things he loves most about this sport.
Jesus Christ, because he was the only perfect person to ever live which is why my son looks up to him and takes after him. Some ways Jesus’s teachings come into my son’s playing style, and life, are his teachings in faith and believing in God to get you past a tough moment, and be with you the whole way, which inspires my son to keep going in fighting with confidence because he knows God is with him always.
One of the proudest moments in my athletes career, was during a ECNL show in North Carolina. He was having a great game and was making runs and creating chances but the was giving him little time and kept taking him off. But my son gave the coach no choice other than to leave him on because as a defender, my son stole the ball at the top of the box scored, and then rose above everyone in the box a scored again to tie the game.
