In sports, the game or meet is where all the early mornings, weight room sessions, and extra reps pays off. Sports taught him accountability early on. He learned quickly that individual talent doesn’t matter if you aren’t executing for the player next to you. He loves the game because it forces you to trust your teammates, communicate under pressure, and work toward something bigger than yourself. It is the ultimate test of mental and physical performance.
Friday nights...the crowd, the speed, the raw competition. But his favorite part is the grind leading up to it. Putting in the work during the dog days of summer with teammates who share the same vision is where the real connection happens. That’s what makes the game special. The discipline and mental toughness the game demands don’t just stay on the turf. They define how he approaches every challenge in life. His faith in God, servitude to help others, and love for sports is evident.
He was able to play in a Varsity game his freshmen year of highschool, and then went on to make Second Team All District in football in our Texas town as a sophomore. He also broke the highschool record in the 100m dash in track this last year as a Sophomore, and participated in Regionals for track.
