Learn MoreThe competition each sport brings. For Basketball the fun in being able to make shots and also make something happen for others to be able to shoot. Crossing people over and being able to 1v1 and shoot the shot is fun! For Football it’s fun being able to run routes & catch the ball & score a TD or even catch a pass and run a touchdown back!
Jesus Christ bc he paid the ultimate price & sacrificed his life for us. Football-Tyreek Hill bc he feels like he relates to him bc of his size & speed & he loves that he spreads the gospel. Basketball-Stephon Curry bc he sets new records, & he always proves everybody wrong, and he’s a great role model & firm believer in Jesus Christ.
He’s made me proud during it all bc he works hard and gives it his all in each sport, but a couple of moments that stick out most are when we traveled to Kansas for a game & the game could make us ranked if we won and my son caught the pass and ran it in to score a TD & we won 7-0. For basketball he has had to learn that even though he’s short he is fast enough & has great handles to be able to be great & make a way! He made a half court shot at the buzzer one game and it made me so happy 4 him!
