What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat Carter loves most about sports is the friendships he makes, being part of a team, and helping his teammates succeed. He enjoys learning, improving, and challenging himself to get better. Whether he’s on the hockey rink, baseball field, golf course, or football field, Carter loves pushing himself, learning from his coaches and teammates, and doing whatever he can to help his team succeed.
Carter’s dad inspires him because he has always been there to coach, support, and encourage him in every sport he played. He pushes him to work hard, keep improving, and believe in myself. He teaches him that being a good athlete is about more than just winning. It’s about being a good teammate, working hard, and becoming a better person. Carter knows he can always count on him to help him be his best.
One of the moments Carter is most proud of was pitching in the Little League State Tournament. He pitched a game where no one reached base, and he was proud of how he stayed focused, trusted his teammates, and gave his best effort. It was a moment that showed Carter what he can accomplish through hard work, confidence, and believing in himself and teammates.
