What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreShe loves building the confidence and increasing her skill set during practice and playing time. She loves learning from her coaches and having discipline. She enjoys meeting new friends and being a wonderful teammate on and off the field. She supports every player and loves to teach others the skills she knows as well as learn from them too.
Cataleyah’s coaches inspired her on and off the field, as well as her other teammates. She has her favorite NBA & NFL teams too of course and is a major Virginia Tech fan. She literally studies games to learn from others she is inspired by!
During her atheletic journey it’s been many of moments that I was so proud of her. I would say my most memorable would be the year I coached her basketball team 9U and she was the only player that had played before amongst many other girls. She stepped up like an assistant coach at just 9 years old! She helped me run drills, teach the girls all the basic developmental skills. She would play all 4 quarters of every single game as point guard helping guide her teammates and Never got frustrated.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
