Secondly, she loves the friendships that comes with being a supportive teammate. She cheers and supports the whole team and is incredible friend to everyone
Katie Ledecky inspires in and out of the pool. Katie is a positive girl model because she speaks about health, nutrition, positive body image and the role of consistency and hard work in the pool. She is also inspired by all the women in the WHL for becoming trailblazers in their sport and overcoming all the obstacles to women and girls in hockey
This season in winter swim she did not make any championship swim cuts . She had the opportunity to take time off I the pool and instead showed up at the very next practice to talk to the coaches and evaluate what she needed to do for the next season. She put work in during the summer swim season separate from team practices to improve her strokes and then moved from the 14th seat to finish 6th at the end of the season
