What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He enjoys being part of a team, working together, and accomplishing things as a group. He also loves helping others improve while continuing to grow and improve in the sports he plays. He loves competition and, no matter the outcome of a game, always looks for ways to improve and learn from his mistakes. Through sports, he has made great friends, and they have accomplished so many things. Most of all, he loves sharing these experiences and creating memories with his teammates and friends.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His friends and family inspire him both on and off the field. Whenever he sees his friends improving and having fun, it inspires him to do the same. Whenever his friends see him improving, they never hesitate to tell him how proud they are of him. His family is his biggest support system, and they always show up to his games no matter what. Knowing that they are there supporting him means a lot to him.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Him making varsity in 2 sports, getting good grades, and working a job, was one thing we are most proud of. Ever since he was little, he always looked up to the older kids that were in high-school, and now he is that high-schooler that he dreamed of being when he was little. It means a lot to him because he knows that if he accomplished his main goals and hopes he can be a good example for any younger athlete that has the same goals he did when I was their age.
