What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love playing sports because of how it makes me feel. Every time I achieve something in my sports, I become overwhelmed with excitement and I want to keep training and competing. I also love playing sports because of the bonds and connections I have formed. Every tournament, practice, and meet, I know I have someone supporting me and wanting me to do my best. It makes me feel good to know that I have people I can rely on for encouragement.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My parents inspire me to be the best. My parents are my biggest supporters and some of the most hard working people I know. They are always there for me. They want me to succeed. I also see their work ethic and how hard they try to make sure I'm happy and cared for. They have a standard and legacy of excellence that I want to lead me as an athlete and future engineer.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that makes me proudest was observing her growth through sports, not only as an athlete but also as a teammate and leader. As her confidence developed, she began to support others, take initiative, and contribute meaningfully to her team. Seeing her look to me on the sidelines for reassurance reminded me that my encouragement continued to play an important role as she became more independent and embraced new challenges.
