Cerenity started late but worked hard to be a varsity starter in softball and flag football. She's also a flag runner for the football team.

Mom inspires her the most. She was an athlete too and often told them stories about her playing days. Cerenity was with her mom when an old teammate stopped them and told her how great a player her mom was. She finally believed the stories. Off the field is the perseverance she showed with raising 6 kids and still striving to be better professionally and personally. Mom always seems to find a way to get things done.
Cerenity was the new kid on the block, just learning softball for the first time. In tenth grade on Senior night, the team was in a back and forth game all night. It was their last chance at bat as they were trailing by 1. Two runners on base, 2 outs I believe and Cerenity was up to bat. The last chance they had and not considered the best hitter. She hit a game ending triple and won the game!! I still get goosebumps writing about it....sooo good! I was very very proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
