What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Chapman loves the competition, being part of a team, and the feeling of stepping onto the field ready to give his best. Whether he is playing baseball or football, he loves challenging himself, learning new skills, making big plays, and celebrating with his teammates. Most of all, he loves the friendships, memories, and experiences these sports have given him. He truly loves the game and the opportunity to keep getting better.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Chapman’s biggest inspiration is his dad. He looks up to him both on and off the field and admires the way he works hard, stays committed, and never gives up. His dad teaches him that being a great athlete is about more than winning—it’s about effort, character, teamwork, and how you treat others. Chapman wants to make his dad proud by always giving his best, being a good teammate, and becoming the best athlete and person he can be.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There are so many moments in Chapman’s athletic journey that make me proud, but what stands out most is how he handles both the highs and the lows. Whether he makes a big play, helps his team win, or faces disappointment, he stays humble and keeps going. Watching him learn that success isn’t just about the big moments, but also about how you respond when things don’t go your way, makes me incredibly proud of the athlete and person he is becoming.
