What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love most about my sport of Track is the new people you meet and become friends with while competing, everyone is nice no matter what, during competition and it’s always fun because you can laugh and have a great time and still be competitive and everyone is cheering everyone on.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Who inspires me and that would have to be Ryan Crouser, watching him throw in the Olympics and getting better every day even through he had an injury was amazing, he is so electric and brings so much energy with him it’s awesome.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that made me the proudest of my athlete was when decided to choose his own path in sports. I coach High School soccer and in 7th grade he decided to switch from soccer to football and track. Where he pushes himself and put all the extra work in with being told too. He strives for perfect but at the same time takes time to help and cheer on others. He stays humble at all times. If he loses he shakes the persons hand and congratulates them.
