Receive Text UpdatesBaseball is a mind game and he loves the challenge of that. As a catcher, he enjoys most the challenge of throwing runners out trying to steal bases. Like collecting notches on a belt. As a pitcher, striking out batters or causing them to hit a popup or ground out satisfies him. He enjoys the friends he makes playing and how they challenge each other to get better each time out on the field or in the cage.
Charlie is a Believer in Christ. He knows no matter what he’s doing he represents Christ to the public. That’s who he ultimately is playing for and lives for on and off the field. As far as other’s who inspire him, he’s always intrigued by other baseball players who play at a high level for their position and how they got there. It pushes him to keep working, keep pushing forward and work to be the best at his positions he can be. He also, wants to be an inspiration for others too.
His ability to keep his emotions in tact when he strikes out or makes a bad throw or misses a ball or gets hit by a ball. He stays very level headed emotionally. He’ll make his own corrections and keep working. He got hit hard by a runner at third. Instead of having a fit about it. He got up, dusted himself off, kept playing. Next at bat he hit a hard rbi double down the third base line. His character I’m most proud of.
