I think that one person Charlie looks up to is her big sister. She watches her sister compete and do certain skills and she aspires to be like her.
During baseball Charlie was scared to go up to bat and being pitched to. So she was wanting to go straight to the tee instead taking some pitches from the coach. But when it came time for her to bat, she chose to be brave and be pitched to instead of just hitting off of the tee. It showed real bravery.
