What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Charlotte loves the challenge—the excitement of learning a new skill, competing, pushing herself, and seeing hard work become progress. Across taekwondo, swimming, gymnastics, and now soccer, she has discovered how much she loves becoming better than she was yesterday. Today, soccer is teaching her a new lesson: individual effort becomes even more powerful when you learn, grow, and succeed as part of a team.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Charlotte is inspired by her parents and coaches, who show her that character matters as much as talent. At home, she learns to believe in herself, stay grounded, and persevere. On the field, her coaches teach her discipline, accountability, and respect. Together, they remind her that success isn’t just measured by wins, but by the person and teammate she becomes along the way.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

During a heated soccer game, Charlotte let her emotions get the best of her. When things got physical again, she reset, controlled her reaction, and stood up for herself with words. At the final whistle, she shook hands with the opposing team and said, “Good game.” I was proud not because she had been perfect, but because she found her way back to respect and sportsmanship. For a passionate young competitor still learning to manage big emotions, that moment showed real growth for me.
