What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Char loves the chance to tell a story every time she steps on stage. She works hard in the studio, but performing on stage is where she truly comes alive. Whether she's dancing with her teammates or taking the stage for her first solo this season, she loves connecting with the audience, expressing herself through movement, and sharing the joy she feels when she dances.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Char's biggest inspiration is her solo coach, Kaitlynn. She admires Kaitlynn's confidence, kindness, and dedication to dance. Watching her perform has taught Char that great dancers don't just execute skills but they truly captivate an audience. Char hopes to follow in her footsteps by dancing with passion, working hard, and encouraging others along the way.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

While winning both improv competitions she entered last year was an incredible accomplishment, what makes us proudest is the confidence Char shows on stage. At just 9 years old, she isn't afraid to make eye contact with the judges and truly perform. You can see her passion the moment the music starts. She doesn't just dance the choreography, she lights up the stage and shares her love of dance with everyone watching.
