What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Chase also plays hockey, he’s a goalie, flag football and of course, baseball. He loves competition, improving his skills with every practice and game, and the feeling of accomplishment.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

There are many people that inspire Chase. For football, Garret Wilson. Because of the way he carry’s himself on and off the field. For hockey, it’s Conner McDavid because when he’s playing, you can see how much confidence he has - like no one else can compete with him. And for baseball, Derek Jeter. One of the greatest to ever play baseball. His poise, athleticism and leadership are all the qualities that make him an outstanding player and person. And to save the best for last, Chase’s dad.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There are many moments that make us proud but one really stands out. In little league, there was a player who just started baseball and got upset after his second strike out. Chase asked the coach if he could sit the next inning because that player was, and he wanted to work on his swing with him. He sacrificed being in the field to help another player. And when he got up again, Chase was his loudest supporter and even though he grounded out, the fact that he hit the ball made him so happy.
