What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat Chase love most about playing sports, is the competition and the feeling of always trying to get better, stating " I love being part of a team, pushing myself, and seeing all the hard work I put in during practice pay off in games. Being a dual athlete also keeps things exciting because each sport challenges me in a different way and helps me become a better overall athlete. Most of all, I love the friendships, the competition, and the feeling of accomplishing something with my teammates".
Chase states his parents, coaches, and other athletes inspire him, stating "my parents because they always support me and push me to be the best version of myself, both on and off the field. My coaches inspire me because they challenge me to improve and never let me settle. As an athlete, I also look up to athletes who show discipline, confidence, and dedication in everything they do. They remind me that success comes from putting in the work, staying focused, and believing in yourself".
One of the moments that makes me proudest of Chase is watching him overcome adversity and continue to push forward. He has faced challenges that tested him physically and mentally, but he never allowed setbacks to define him. Instead, he stayed committed, worked hard, and found a way to keep improving. Seeing his determination, resilience, and willingness to fight through difficult moments has made me even prouder of the person he is becoming, not just as an athlete, but as a young man.
