Learn MoreWhat Chiara loves most about golf is the challenge. Every round is different, and she loves that there is always something new to improve. She enjoys competing, being outdoors, and pushing herself to become a better player. Most of all, she loves the feeling of seeing her hard work pay off and knowing that she earned every improvement.
Chiara is inspired by the female golfers she watches and follows. She sees them continue to give their best despite the challenges and adversities in their lives, and she admires their strength and determination. She looks up to athletes who keep pushing themselves and competing at the highest level, no matter what they are going through.
One of the moments that makes me proudest was when I had to work during one of Chiara’s tournaments, and she had to compete without me while most of the other players had their parents there supporting them. Despite being on her own, she stayed focused and determined, and she ended up shooting her best score and winning. Seeing her turn a difficult situation into one of her greatest accomplishments made me extremely proud as her mother.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
